Bad Sneakers Band - In addition to being a sideman, I also lead a group with my good friend and bass playing pal, Mel Brown. We started the Bad Sneakers Band in 2006 as an exclusive Steely Dan cover squad. In 2009, we upped the Steely ante and crossed the finish line with a fully operational Tower Of Power funk star AND assembled a groovy scene of soulful, melodic, singer-songwriter infused goodness, (dubbed The Soul Syndicate,) that has melted hearts at its every engagement.
